First Aid

First aid provision in the workplace saves lives. It can prevent minor problems or injuries from becoming major ones. It can help employers reduce costs from injury.

From 1 October 2009 the requirements for first aid in the workplace changed and it is a legal obligation for every single employer to make sure their employees receive the right first aid care in the workplace.

Depending on the hazards and number of employees in the workplace your first aiders will need to be trained in either Emergency first aid at work or First aid at work.
