Summary of course content

Through a theoretical course, delegates will be made aware of the dangers associated with High Pressure Water Jetting Systems and Practices including an overview of the following disciplines:

• Safety Awareness
• Drain and Sewer cleaning
• Hydro demolition
• Surface Preparation

Delegates will:

• Be aware of all the hazards associated with water jetting
• Understand the principles of water jetting
• Understand the need for maintenance
• Understand the hazards of misuse of jetting equipment
• Understand what to do and what action to take in the event of a water jetting accident/incident
• Understand the safety procedures for jetting activities
• Have a detailed knowledge of the Water Jetting Association Code of Practice
